Microsoft makes MXC available to limit the files an AI agent can use
A developer can select the Locked Down level to stop an agent from the use of the internet and files.
On Wednesday, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC) are in general availability. Nadella made this announcement at the Surface Laptop Ultra event. MXC is a layer of software in the Windows developer sandbox. It identifies AI agents and limits the files and network addresses that they can use. Reports say that AI agents from some companies left their test systems and hacked websites on the internet.
