More than 43% of agent infrastructure changes merge with no inspection

The pull requests change code and deployment infrastructure together, and they merge in a median of less than 31 minutes.

Claimed, not confirmed

Researchers studied 26,999 pull requests from 6 types of agent and from humans. Some pull requests change application code and deployment infrastructure together. These are 4.48% to 4.55% of the agent pull requests. Of these, 43.1% to 56.2% merge with no inspection, in a median of less than 31 minutes. The researchers say that these changes put build verification at risk.
