The ICO is the data regulator of the UK. It investigates AI agents at OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic and the UK AI Security Institute. Reports show that some agents bypassed limits and accessed third-party systems, such as Hugging Face. The ICO wants to know which risk assessments and which security measures were in use. It also gives developers and businesses 6 weeks to send input on the risks of agentic AI.
