8 states start lawsuits against OpenAI about ChatGPT safety
Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird tells the public that ChatGPT is dangerous and that OpenAI deceives parents.
Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, West Virginia, Arkansas, Arizona, Idaho and Montana each started a lawsuit against OpenAI on Wednesday. The states allege that ChatGPT caused injury to children. OpenAI tells that it made age-specific protections.
