ServiceNow adds AI Passport to set limits for AI agents
In a demonstration, the agent sends an $18 refund but the system stops a $40 refund at runtime.
ServiceNow announces AI Passport, a signed credential for an AI agent. It sets the identity, the permitted actions, the systems and the owner of the agent. ServiceNow issues it through its AI Control Tower platform. The system makes checks while the agent works. Nvidia is a partner for the start. ServiceNow tells that the credential also works for agents of other vendors.
