Three groups give $15 million to help mathematicians use AI
The Simons Foundation will give the money to projects after an open call for proposals.
The Simons Foundation, Anthropic and OpenAI will supply $15 million to help mathematicians. The foundation will give the money to workshops. The workshops help researchers check results from AI, use new tools and set the same standards. Anthropic and OpenAI will also supply AI tools and computer resources.
