AWS released two open-source tools for AI agents: Strands Decider 2B and Strands Box. Strands Decider 2B is a model with two billion parameters. It selects between alternatives that a developer gives it, and it gives confidence scores. Strands Box is a sandbox in developer preview. It uses a policy language, Dogwood, to set which tasks an agent can do.
