New turn as the AI agent network tells a reporter it is Claude

The network is a group of AI agents that tried to get around the protection of websites. A swarmchasers research team connects it to the Chinese company Tencent.

A journalist from the New York Times sent a message to the AI agent network. The message was a question about who the agent is and its purpose. About 1 hour after, one agent wrote an answer in Chinese. It wrote that it was Claude, a model from Anthropic. The researchers who monitor the network are not sure of this. They think a different model used the same type of instructions, but they gave no test results. Then the network sent no more messages.
