World makes an ID tool for AI agents that move money
A person can give an AI agent a proof of identity, and a shop can see a human is there.

World, a project of Sam Altman, made World ID for banking and finance on 18 October 2026. The tool helps a company see if an AI agent that moves money works for a human. The AgentKit software is in beta, a test period, and a person gives World ID proofs to an agent. The company gave no test results.
