Insight: Money moves to the step after the code
Blacksmith tells that the test step is the slow step. On 19 October 2026, Bright Security started a tool that tests code for bugs. 2 vendors sell the check of AI code. This reads as a race to own the gate that code must go through. The owner of the gate can set the price. Builders must plan the cost of tests.
