Google makes Chief of Staff, a voice agent for Antigravity

Google prepares a large release of Antigravity, the platform where AI agents write code. In messages from Google personnel, the release can come next week. The build has a live voice mode for a new agent with the name Chief of Staff, which seems to operate Antigravity like a person. The name can change before release.

How it works

The voice mode lets users speak live with the agent, as in Gemini Live. Users select a voice and the speed of the voice. They can mute the sound or the microphone. The first screen shows 4 tasks:

• look at open conversations
• make rules for each user
• show important topics
• find skills and plugins that help

A new dashboard shows tools, tasks that wait for approval, and work that is in progress.

The numbers

There are no test results or other numbers. The facts come from a build that is not released, and parts of it can change.

What is not known

The correct date and the areas of release are not sure. It is not sure that the agent can control other agents. It is not sure if Google wants AI tools for all persons. The report thinks this is not correct, as Antigravity is for developers.
