A hacker made attacks on South Korean banks with ARTEX AI
The developer made ARTEX closed-source and stopped updates, but new versions of the code in English and Korean are available.
A Chinese-speaking hacker made attacks on South Korean banks this month. The hacker used ARTEX AI, a suite of tools for penetration tests, and Claude agents. The banks included Shinhan Bank, KB Kookmin Bank and Hana Bank. The attacks exposed the personal data of clients and credit card data. Some attacks also caused system outages.
