Dialpad and Ada plan one company for AI customer help
Customers keep their contracts and prices, and the companies gave no price for the deal.
On 4 November 2026, Dialpad and Ada said they will become one company. Dialpad makes business phone and voice software. Ada makes AI agents, software that does customer help work, and has more than 500 agents in use. Together they have more than 50,000 company customers. The deal is to close on or about 12 November.
What is new
Dialpad has a global voice network and language models for voice. Ada agents work in voice, message, email and social channels, in more than 130 languages.
The new company wants agents to work in connected business systems. Agents will tell a person to help when the task is hard, and continue the work after the conversation ends.
The numbers
Dialpad says it has analyzed more than 14 billion minutes of business conversations since 2018. The companies gave no test results for the agents. They gave no financial terms.
What is not known
The companies say they will share a roadmap in the next months. They say the network and models that they have give more control of cost, but they gave no figures. Craig Walker will be chief executive.
Insight: Dialpad and Ada keep the full chain, Adobe goes to others
On 4 November, Adobe put its marketing agent into ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot, to be where users work. Dialpad and Ada do the opposite: they hold a voice network and models. This reads as two plans: use the platforms of other companies, or hold the full chain from network to agent. Check which plan your vendor follows.
